The wonderful city of Verona

Verona is one of the most ancient and beautiful cities in Italy, located in northern Italy. From the monumental Arena, the ancient Roman amphitheater, to Romeo and Juliet’s balcony, probably Shakespeare's most famous single scene. From the picturesque Piazza delle Erbe to the stunning ancient bridges and churches, or from the elegant Piazza dei Signori to Castelvecchio, Verona is a truly special and romantic city. It has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its urban structures and architecture. Visiting Verona means a full immersion in art, history, and culture!

In 2026, the Arena of Verona will host the Closing Ceremony of the XXV Winter Olympic Games, and the Opening Ceremony of the XIV Winter Paralympic Games.

In December, Verona enters the Christmas season and transforms into a magical city. The famous comet sculpture emerges from the Arena, while festive markets, nativity scenes, and elegant decorations bring warmth and beauty to the historic streets. It’s a truly unique time to experience the magic of Verona.
